Carbon that hits the sweet spot between feathery and durable. The 2.0 layup stiffens the flex profile so your check lands where you aim it, and the textured matte skin means your top hand never slides mid-dodge. A real step up for the player ready to leave alloy behind.

Why we picked it

The graduation shaft

There's a moment every player hits when the alloy bar starts feeling like a boat anchor. The Carbon Pro 2.0 is the shaft we hand them next. It sheds weight without going noodle-soft — the 2.0 layup keeps the flex stiff, so a poke check lands exactly where you point it instead of wobbling off line.

The matte skin is the quiet hero: your top hand stays glued through a dodge, rain or shine, with no tape to re-wrap every week. It's the honest step up from alloy — light enough to notice, tough enough to trust.

"Came off an alloy bar and the difference is night and day — light in the hands but still stiff on checks. Nothing floppy about it. I stopped noticing the weight by day two."

Tyler B. · Attack

"The matte skin is the real story. Played a full downpour game and my top hand never slid once. Haven’t touched a roll of tape since it showed up."

Sam K. · Midfield

"Love the grip and the balance. Docking one only because I wish it came in the 32″ middie cut — the 30 is a touch short for my hands. Still my gamer."

Straight answers Before you bench it
Will this pin to the head I already run?

Yep — it's a standard men's spec bar, so any head you're running now drops right on. Pin it, tape it, throw it. If you're not sure your head plays nice, shoot us a note before you order and we'll check it against your setup.

Attack length or should I grab the d-pole?

Run the 30″ attack/middie cut if you're up top or on the crease. Playing close D or LSM? Grab the 60″ defense length from the picker above. Goalies, the 40″ is your huckleberry.

Does the matte grip wear smooth over a season?

Not the way tape does. The textured skin is part of the layup, so it holds through a wet season without re-wrapping. Give it a wipe when it gets grimy and it comes right back.

Is it actually lighter than my alloy bar?

By a good margin — 4.4 oz versus the 5-plus you're used to on 7000-series alloy. You'll notice it the first time you wind up, but the stiff 2.0 flex means it never feels noodly on a check.
